Academic Specifications
- Passes in at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics
- Geography is an added advantage
- At least 2 ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Physics and any other Science Subjects
- Computer Science is an added advantage
OR
- A National Diploma in Geomatics and Surveying or equivalent
Tertiary Institutions that offer related programs in Zimbabwe.

What do Surveyors do?
They:
- Measure distances and angles on, above, and below the Earth's surface
- Determine the exact location of important features
- Research land records, survey records, and land titles
- Look for evidence of previous boundaries to determine where boundary lines are located
- Record the results of surveying and verify the accuracy of data
- Prepare plots, maps, and reports
- Present findings to clients and government agencies
- Establish official land and water boundaries for deeds, leases, and other legal documents and testify in court regarding survey work
